In this year 2023 was PFMI’s third anniversary and the administration and ministers gathered to deliberate on how to celebrate it, we all know and saw how God had and is still good to us and we in the normal Nigerian style wanted it to be remarkable, since it is an online ministry we thought of a physical gathering where everyone will come dance, give praise to God and go home, we thought of an online praise and worship section then another minister suggested we go visit the prisoners, it was a mere suggestion that I did not think much of partly because our purse at the time did not look like it and the ministers knew that, I wanted a suggestion of something simpler and smaller but here it is….
Few days past this meeting and I could no longer sleep, I never knew the prison visit suggestion hit me so hard, it became a burden in my heart, I would sleep and dream of the people in prison, how they got healed or how I was to minister to them to receive their healing, I began to see their names and envision the prophecies over them, I do not have the heart to visit the prisons or so I thought, I knew I was fragile and could break down in tears or pity for them at anytime if I went so I closed my ears and eyes to it,
There was a question or topic of discussion I had with the Holy Spirit which is: “what happens to those who died after the death and resurrections of Christ Jesus and never had the opportunity of hearing the gospel or having it preached to them by anyone?” I wanted to understand how they would be saved or spend eternity and he answered saying they would be judged by their works and conscience quoting Matthew 25: 31 – 46 he said:
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I was in prison and you came to visit me I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, .’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
then it hit me again:
‘I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
that was it for me, this stocked in the corner of my heart even though the Holy Spirit elaborated on our discussion neglecting the prison talk or ministration and we went ahead to discuss many other unrelated things, I took deliberate steps to not run away this time from this mission like I had,
My major concern was funds but by the help of the Holy Spirit, all the funds and the gifts of men needed for the prison ministration was made available within a month, in fact our target was exceeded, we had more than enough funds without announcing it on any media or reaching out to philanthropist or kingdom financers, just an announcement on the fellowship and the Holy Spirit made this happen with out stress, it amazed me that all the concerns I had was settled in a twinkle of an eye and the boldness needed to face this mission came alive. I thank God for the glory (gift of men) that surrounds me on PFMI, it has been an honor serving as the Head of Ministry,
On the 6th of April two of my sisters volunteered to go to the market, we accomplished this mission on the 8th of April 2023, I and sister Oge went to the kirikiri maximum prison of Lagos Nigeria to preach the good news, we healed all that was sick and oppressed of the devil like I had envisioned earlier on, I placed my hands over ears and healed them, I gave prophecies as lead by the Holy Spirit and presented all the items bought for them, I saw the power of God break out so mightily and Jesus was glorified.
the climax of that moment for me was when the Holy Spirit said
“I only wanted you to step your feet on this ground, by the reason of your obedience, every prisoner you see here today would be released before your next visit, I have shown them great mercy” I cried out of joy and seeing everyone I had seen in my vision physically toped that joy, there were three persons going to be released in two weeks after that day that would become prison missionaries by the reason of this visit and many more.
Are you burdened in your heart over a mission you are yet to fulfil? it is time to act.
By your action many people would be truly set free…..
I declare that all that is needed for you to fulfil your mission in success comes to you speedily in Jesus name!
I write this to encourage you to start that thing which God has asked you to do with no doubt, He is faithful and just enough to provide all that is needed in a twinkle of an eye, all you need to do is start, settle it in your mind to do it and deliberately start (act).
