Topic: Be Ready for Exponential Increase

Hello family good evening, welcome to Bible study tonight.
2 Kings 4:1-7 (NLT)
Elisha Helps a Poor Widow
4 One day the widow of a member of the group of prophets came to Elisha and cried out, “My husband who served you is dead, and you know how he feared the Lord. But now a creditor has come, threatening to take my two sons as slaves.”
² “What can I do to help you?” Elisha asked. “Tell me, what do you have in the house?”
“Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,” she replied.
³ And Elisha said, “Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors. ⁴ Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.”
⁵ So she did as she was told. Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another. ⁶ Soon every container was full to the brim!
“Bring me another jar,” she said to one of her sons.
“There aren’t any more!” he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing.
⁷ When she told the man of God what had happened, he said to her, “Now sell the olive oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on what is left over.”
Isaiah 54:1-6 (NLT)
Future Glory for Jerusalem
54 “Sing, O childless woman,
you who have never given birth!
Break into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem,
you who have never been in labor.
For the desolate woman now has more children
than the woman who lives with her husband,”
says the Lord.
² “Enlarge your house; build an addition.
Spread out your home and spare no expense!
³ For you will soon be bursting at the seams.
Your descendants will occupy other nations
and resettle the ruined cities.⁴ “Fear not; you will no longer live in shame.
Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you.
You will no longer remember the shame of your youth
and the sorrows of widowhood.
⁵ For your Creator will be your husband;
the Lord of Heaven’s Armies is his name!
He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel,
the God of all the earth.
⁶ For the Lord has called you back from your grief—
as though you were a young wife abandoned by her husband,”
says your God.
In great expectation and joy of the exponential increase God has called into we shall be examining these two bible texts.
You see, whenever God calls for an increase, He also sends an instruction that will increase capacity for the increase.
I’ll cite the case of the baptism of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, prior to that day the Lord Jesus had given a specific instruction that would cause them to be prepared for the Holy Spirit and what was that instruction?
Luke 24:49 NLT
[49] “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”
Luke 24:49 AMP
[49] Listen carefully: I am sending the Promise of My Father [the Holy Spirit] upon you; but you are to remain in the city [of Jerusalem] until you are clothed (fully equipped) with power from on high.
Hallelujah!
Now please pay attention to what I’m about to say now….
The coming of the Holy Spirit was not dependent on the staying or tarrying of the disciples. This is what I mean, the Lord did not say “if you tarry you will carry 😃” neither did He say “the Holy Spirit won’t come if you don’t stay”……No!
Rather, the coming of the Holy Spirit was a statement of fact Jesus made, however “staying/tarrying/remaining in Jerusalem” was a sign of preparation to receive who was coming.
Ohhhh…. please understand what I’m telling you.
Any disciple that chose not to wait/tarry in Jerusalem according to the instruction, was basically saying “I choose not to be prepared for who is coming.”
Likewise, tonight, I’m saying to us this is our year of exponential increase according to word of the Lord and so it’s so certain that it shall come to pass.
Back to the two texts I shared earlier…. with every prosperity word comes an instruction to expand…
Elisha told the widow, “Borrow AS MANY AS……….”
The Lord spoke through Isaiah saying “Sing for joy…….Enlarge….Spread out……don’t be afraid of this expansion for it is from Me.”
I’ll tell you by the word of the Lord, some of us will need to BORROW vessels for the increase that is coming…. Vessels here can be money, going into partnerships with people or whatever your heart convicts you of.
For the one in career, it would mean being more vocal about your abilities, spread the word… don’t be silent about your skills and victories, network…. this is not the time to permit “I don’t want to be loud about my victories”” No!
Let everyone know this is who I am.
If you are in ministry, it would be mean be more expressive about the calling of God upon your life….manifest your calling more.
Don’t say “the Lord has not announced me yet”… No! The year of exponential increase is the word you have, you must not act fearfully, be bold about your calling.
It is time to expand!
All I’m doing is just stirring up our faith and consciousness for that which has already been determined by the Lord.
So don’t be afraid. Execute that idea, submit that proposal. Bros, you sef toast that babe (she go gree sẹ 😃). Even you oga! Marry that babe now (it’s time for expansion).
All in all, all I’m saying is BE READY!
For wealth, for ministry, for business, for carrier, for marriage, for babies and as many things you want increase in…
BE READY!!
