Tonight, my mission is a simple one. I want to share with you my brothers and sisters what has been blessing me in recent times.
So, the topic is, ‘THE IMAGE OF GLORY’.
When we say the image of glory, it speaks of an image representing glory. The image is simply GLORY😁
Brothers and sisters, you are the image of the father’s glory.
You know, that’s how the Father sees you.
Until you have a consciousness of who you are, regardless of what you have faced or currently face, you will suffer unnecessarily.
Our anchor scripture is 2 Corinthians 3:18:
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
[2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV]
The father’s plan all along is that you take on the form of glory. It is who He created you to be.
The way God set the order of things from the beginning is that every creature reproduces after its own kind. So, a lion can only give birth to a lion, a goat can only give birth to a goat, and so on.
But we are born of God.
In His very form and likeness.
Honestly, these are simple truths that you should hold on to until the reality hits you that this is who you are.
Notice what 2 Corinthians 3: 18 says, it says that, we are changed into THE SAME IMAGE from GLORY TO GLORY.
The same image, not another.
This is because you are born of God.
And don’t just take my word for it, look at the scriptures (God’s Word).
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves His child as well.
[1 John 5:1 NIV]
Everyone who believes (not a select few) that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Do you know the implication of being born of God?
Hmmmmmm
The Word of God is replete with your inheritance in Him.
Now you are no longer a slave, but God’s own child. And since you are his child, everything he has belongs to you.
[Galatians 4:7 NLT]
This should give you a confidence that the world and all its problems can’t take away. Everything has been given to you by God.
But brother Sammy why is it that I know all of this but it is not my reality?
Well, you have not seen yourself as God sees you.
Let me tell you how satan gets most believers.
Feelings and emotions.
You will agree with me that you are your earthly Father’s child. Whether you steal or you misbehave or do something wrong, you are still conscious and confident of your sonship with regard to your biological father.
However, the problem is that the consciousness of the truth that we are God’s children regardless of how we feel has not registered in our hearts yet.
It’s not enough to know who you are you must see yourself as such. So, if God says I am the light of the world, then I am the light of the world, not I will be the light of the world. It is a matter of the now factor.
You must tell yourself constantly who you are, and don’t get tired.
If it means you speak in the midst of unexpected times and places then by all means do so.
Ahhh but brother Sammy, I still have so many problems, I am still battling with sin, I am in lack.
See, no problem is solved by focusing on the problem. Let me bring my last scripture for the night.
5 they spoke against God and against Moses, and said, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread! There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!”
6 Then the Lord sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died.
7 The people came to Moses and said, “We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.
8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.”
9 So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.
[Numbers 21:5-9 NIV]
I am sure we all know this story.
Now, the takeaway from the story is that that snake on the pole would later be seen to be Jesus on the cross of Calvary.
Now, the light here is this, whatever issue you may be going through, look away from it and look unto the solution, Jesus.
The more you do that the more your issues begin to wear off and you begin to take on the IMAGE OF GLORY.
Remember you must constantly see yourself the way God sees you and to do this, you must be masters of the new covenant. Apostle Paul did justice to the form of the new man created anew in Christ Jesus.

Thank You, Father, for opening our eyes to the reality of who we are and bringing us to the place where we take on the image of Your Glory. Blessed be Your name, Lord, and may Your name be praised throughout all the ages.
