Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for another opportunity to receive Your Word. I ask that You have Your way tonight, we open our hearts to receive Your Word. Grant us illumination by Your Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Yes, and Amen.

Tonight, we will be looking at a topic that I consider pivotal to the believer.
The Life of God (ZOE).
Every child of God carries the very life of God in him/her.
So long as you are born of God it’s in you.
How do I know?
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
[GENESIS 1:26-28 KJV]
God Himself deemed it fit for us to carry this life in us. And verse 27 of Genesis 1 showed that He went through with it.
Now, here’s where tonight’s topic begins to lift off the ground.
The implication of the life of God in man is shown in verse 28,
By having the life of God, you must have dominion and subdue the Earth.
So, here’s my question, why does it seem like believers don’t have any form of dominion whatsoever or it seems that they are subdued by the issues of life?
Now here’s the thing.
I realized that the greatest problem and enemy of the believer is not satan, but IGNORANCE.
Now when you go through scripture, you’ll discover that satan is a defeated foe.
The Bible says that God made an open show of the enemy and made a spectacle of them.
Jesus said He saw him fall as lightning, which speaks of when he was cast out of Heaven.
So, he has been defeated, however, it does not change the fact that he is still the accuser of the brethren, so he never stops coming at you.
Now, in the book of Genesis, he is described as clever and it’s what he does, he preys on ignorance. So, in this kingdom what you don’t know has the potential to cost you.
You have to be fully persuaded about what you know as well because although Eve knew what God said, he still came asking questions that eventually tricked her.
I say this because many of us have not fully come to know what we carry inside of us.
The very life of God is in you. You are His ambassador on earth.
That’s why the move of God does not happen by God Himself, He moves through His men.
And that’s why the Bible says in 1 John 4:4:
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.
[1 John 4:4 KJV]
God did not just create us and dropped us in this world to be alone. He put His very life in us and gave us the mantle of dominion.
So, how now, do you access this ZOE life that’s in you?
First, acknowledge that you have the life of God.
Confess it, meditate on it constantly.
Another very important point is PRAYER.
Jude 1:20 says you should pray in the spirit and build up yourself on your most Holy Faith.
The reason prayer is so important is that it brings forth the manifestation of this life within us. As you pray, the Holy Spirit is working within you and you begin to birth forth realities of the Zoë life.
Studying God’s Word also adds up to accessing the ZOE life of God because from God’s Word, you get more clarity by the Spirit of God.
You must also very importantly yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit. He is the one who opens up this reality to you.
Apostle Paul was so yielded that it got to a point where he said;
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
[Galatians 2:20 NIV]
Emphasis on, “I no longer live but Christ lives in me”.
As you begin to access this life that God gave us, you will start to go from glory to glory.
A believer operating in the ZOE life of God cannot know a better yesterday, because the path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter…
So, my charge is for us to contend for what is ours. The only thing the enemy can do is prey on our ignorance.
Contend for what is rightfully yours!

Thank You, Lord, for Your life that is in us. Thank You, Father, that we begin to walk in the ZOE life and exercise dominion in all spheres of life. We go out and take the territories in Your name, Lord, knowing full well that we have the authority in Your name. Thank You, dear heavenly Father, Blessed be Your name now and in the age to come. Yes, and Amen.
