Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that we are about to receive. We ask that You illuminate us with Your Word and grant us understanding that will yield results in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Yes, and Amen.

Tonight, we shall briefly look at the topic: The Power of Predestination
The word predestination comes from the word predestine which means TO DETERMINE THE FUTURE OR THE FATE OF SOMETHING IN ADVANCE; TO PREORDAIN.
I want each and everyone on PFMI to know that as children of God, our lives have been predestined by God.
Let’s take a scripture;
Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
[Jeremiah 1:4-5 KJV]
This was the Lord telling Jeremiah who He had destined or ordained him to be before he was even formed in his mother’s womb. He called him to be a prophet to the nations.
You see, the truth is, the same applies to each and every one of us. We all have been called by God into a glorious future.
Don’t ever doubt if you have a bright or glorious future because the man (generic term) God uses, He exults in due time.
That is why you ought to choke your spirit and soul (mind) with His Word because that is where you see the future He has called you to.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
[Jeremiah 29:11 KJV]
Just look at this truth.
There is only one thing that is expected of you and that is, to trust God and hold on to His Word even when your reality does not reflect what the Word says at first.
Remember the story of Joseph. He was one man that was destined for greatness as we saw at first through his dreams, but somehow it looked as though things were not in his favour, but through it all, he trusted God.
- His brothers hated him
- He was sold into slavery
- Things began to look good for him and just then he was set up and thrown into jail for quite a while.
But through all of these setbacks (which were actually setups😁) – Be careful to mistake a divine setup for a setback. They often look the same but are totally different.
A divine setup is used by God to elevate you or propel you to your next level, but when it happens be careful not to destroy what God is doing with your words (SELAH😊). Words are powerful and that is why Zachariah’s mouth had to be shut by Angel Gabriel if not he would have altered things negatively with his words of doubt.
That is by the way. Through everything, Joseph stayed Faithful to God and God exalted him.
You reading this needs to know that there is a plan and purpose for your life.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
[Romans 8:28 KJV]
I want everyone to confess this right now: I AM NOT A MISTAKE, FOR I AM BORN OF GOD.
One last scripture and we will be done for tonight;
Moreover, whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.
[Romans 8:30 KJV]
Know that you have been set up for Glory. Hallelujah!!!
It is God who called you, He is the same one who justified you and then He glorified you.
Notice that Apostle Paul is writing all these in the past tense meaning that it is a done deal.
PFMI family, just stick with God and marvel at the wondrous things He will wrought through your life.
Remember that we (believers) walk by faith and not by sight. So, if your reality is not aligning with the Word, keep confessing what the Word says over your life and see reality bend to your words. Glory!!!

Thank You for Your truths O Lord. Thank You because we have been predestined for Glory. Lord, we trust You and walk always in Your predestined path for our lives. Blessed be Your name O God. In Jesus’ Mighty Name. Yes, and Amen.
