Topic: The Supernatural (The Healing Aspect)
Let’s recap.
In part 1, we talked about the fall of the first Adam and how health failure came in as a result;
The emergence of the second Adam and how He has come to re-install us into the first state where divine health is our default state;
We spoke about why believers still fall sick even after the reinstatement;
We talked about how to insist on your divine health;
And we talked about how to heal the sick.
So, today we go into the practice of that which we have learned.
As a believer, it is important to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit and learn how to communicate and keep communication with Him.
It should be deliberate, always, every day, every minute, every hour, and every second of the day.
Without constant communication with the Holy Spirit, it would be difficult to practice who and what you are called to be and why?
John 16:12-13
[12] “There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now.
[13] When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.
That’s because you do not know all things, but the Holy does and He is the only one that can both show you and tell you what to do and how to do it to get results.
That said, we do not know how to heal an individual completely except the Holy Spirit is involved (it’s His power that heals after all).
Secondly, people are different so their healing processes could come differently.
Thirdly, depending on the health challenge, you may not know what to do unless He tells you.
Therefore, involve the Holy Spirit in all things including the healing of the sick,
Keep communication.
Now, How Do You Talk To The Holy Spirit?
Just the way you talk to your friend.
Just call His name, speak, and wait for responses, some times these responses come from deep within you because He lives inside of you!
No! He does not speak from the skies or does not expect Him to speak to your ears or from the outside.
He mostly speaks from within you.
He is an inner witness.
PRACTICALS
That said when you are face to face with a sick person:
- Lay Hands
Ask the Holy Spirit the part of the body that hands should be laid on.
But out of experience, I have come to know that:
The Hands
The Heads
The Ears
The Foot of a man,
Are openings in his body where healing can be contacted.
The chest
The mouth
The eyes
And the back of the ears is also part of it.
Warning:
Make sure you enjoy divine health yourself before laying hands on the sick, this is not compulsory but it is a warning,
Cause sometimes it’s what is born in your spirit, you give out.
You can not give what you do not have.
The supernatural flows from a place of higher concentration to a lower concentration, like Osmosis.
You should be giving out of a place of abundance and not lack of it.
When a sick person is far from you, healing can be done through the phone.
Know that there is no distance in the realm of spirits.
Therefore, you can pray for the sick over the phone and heal them,
This time, they get to lay hands on themselves by your instructions, and healing is contacted.
- The Prayer of Faith
James 5:16
[16] Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
Sometimes when you pray for the sick, they might not get healed instantly, do not be discouraged.
Prayer of faith is important at such times as without faith it is impossible to please God.
Keep at it.
Keep laying hands, and keep praying for this person until you get results.
That’s what faith is about.
1 John 5:13-15
[13] I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
[14] And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.
[15] And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
- By Materials or Mediums
Many times, in the Scriptures especially in the Old Testament we see people use mediums to heal the sick but it’s not really the mediums or these materials that heal mediums can conduct the supernatural, or rather, the supernatural can be impacted on a material medium and it can be used for healing or deliverance.
Acts of the Apostles 19:11-12
[11] God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles.
[12] When handkerchiefs or aprons that had merely touched his skin were placed on sick people, they were healed of their diseases, and evil spirits were expelled.
These material mediums could be
- Communion/ Bread /wine /Food
- Handkerchiefs/ Mantles/Clothing
- Anointing oil / Olive oils/Oils
- Water
- Medicines/drugs (depending on its severity)
How do we use these?
We pray on them and send them on errands.
Isaiah 55:10-11
[10] “The rain and snow come down from the heavens
and stay on the ground to water the earth.
They cause the grain to grow,
producing seed for the farmer
and bread for the hungry.
[11] It is the same with my word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
NOTE: Do not forbid anyone to take medicine/drugs, If they want to take medicine to feel better, please allow them.
Bonus:
Let us know that one of the main causes of health challenges is unforgiveness or bitterness.
When we meet these types of cases, we will not bother to lay hands or do a prayer of faith.
We’ll advise this person to make confessions and learn to forgive to be free from such sicknesses or afflictions.
That’s why it is good to keep communication with the Holy Spirit.
People can be afflicted physically but the root cause could be their emotions.
Yes! Bitterness causes sickness, unforgiveness causes health challenges in fact anything that is not a fruit of the Spirit can cause sickness.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for speaking through me today.
May we dispense heavenly verities without hindrance and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
